UTRI (Universal Training and Research Institute) is a leading volunteer organization having expertise in various sectors especially in community programmes. UTRI is dedicated for rural development through management research, skill up-gradation, capacity building and trainings, field extensions and institutional networking in the national and global perspectives from last 7years.
In order to strengthen the community, first and the foremost requirement is to create employment opportunities besides promoting appropriate rural technologies. The new avenues of income need to be explored by making effective involvement of the ruralities. It requires the region- wise comprehensive surveys of the existing potential and the feasibility of the activities, followed by achievement oriented trainings and escorting services for rehabilitation.

Despite the advancement in the field of science and technology, the major population of the rural areas is still far away from enjoying the benefits of latest scientific inventions and Government Schemes. There is the need to have a set-up which can provide different kinds of orientations & basic technical inputs to the masses of their over all development by judicious use of resources besides protecting and preserving the environment.
Setting up of the UTRI, as the registered organisation is an effort in this direction which focuses on human resources versus natural resources management through research, advocacy, capacity building, skill development and intervention of appropriate technologies in the state, national & global perspectives.
UTRI (Universal Training & Research Institute) is a leading agency for social research and sustainable development under Public Private Partnership. It undertakes ventures of research and analysis, programme planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the developmental and socio-economic projects throughout state. It has the expertise in different fields and capacity to undertake ventures of field training for developmental and socio-economic projects.

We have a unique mode of operation and we operate on a broad front from policy to practice and laboratory to field. We are designing leadership through social engineering. We are collaborative and seek to work with partners and stakeholders to identify problems and provide solutions. We have an extensive network of research sites, institutional partners and CBOs. UTRI is an organization that proposes systemic change for stability. We are quite innovative.
UTRI is a charitable, non political and social organization governed by the Board of Directors. The Board is entrusted with the full powers pertaining to the institute. It can take decisions & implement them whenever required.
